To whet your appetite (and mine 😉)

With Sian's permission, there is now a link to her lovely Orkney site on my sidebar and this is the sort of beauty you will find if you visit:

Life on a (nearly) Small Island

Busy playing fridge Tetris . . .

  1. Oh fridge Tetris ... I remember it well from my days at the flat. The thing I wanted was almost always at the back!!

You are going to have a brilliant time on Orkney, I would love to visit there one day.

  2. I am relieved, actually, to know i am not the only one who plays fridge tetris! As for Orkney, be still my heart. One of my favorite books is The Hogboon of Hell and Other Strange Orkney Tales by Cutt. I actually communicated with the author's son for permission to tell one of the stories, which he graciously granted.

Thanks for dropping by, and to those who leave a comment, they are all very much appreciated 😎.

Comment moderation is enabled for posts older than 3 days. However, Blogger is still randomly assigning Spam designation to comments which are most definitely not and sometimes it takes me a while to find them and click publish, sorry if yours is delayed.

Because so many of us are having trouble getting Blogger to accept a sign-in so that we can leave comments I am trying the risky strategy of changing the settings to "Anyone". Spammers will be deleted as soon as I notice them.
